Photos from the Big Pine Lakes - Palisades Area
This area is a fairly easy one day hike into the upper basin at the foot of Palisades Glacier (I believe this is the southern-most glacier in North America). The Palisades Crest contains several 14,000 foot peaks. The lakes in the area are unimaginatively named First Lake, Second Lake, etc.
