As business development manager for an aerospace engineering corporation with large NASA and US Air Force contracts, our owner tried most of the internet, floppy disk, and paper based Commerce Business Daily (the FedBizOpps' predecessor) services available. Some were faster than others, but all required that he or his staff perform the detailed searches for relevant business opportunities.

He knew that there had to be a better way. So he developed and implemented the prototype for Business Data Services' Custom CBD in mid-1994. Since then, we have continuously refined our processes and our software to meet our varied, and (happily!) increasing, clients' requirements. Now we are proud to be the first service vendor to offer a comprehensive search process for the new FedBizOpps' Electronic Posting System!
