May 23 Colorado Springs Supercell
In upslope flow on the Eastern Rockies a storm formed over Colorado Springs and moved southeast. One inch diameter hail was reported in Colorado springs. The storm had a few wall clouds and even produced a wall cloud with a tail cloud before gusting out. 50 miles to the southeast the outflow produced a severe mesoscale complex.

In extreme instability with minimal wind shear a Westward moving supercell formed south of Pampa. Severe reports of 2" hail were made by other chasers. The storm reportedly produced a brief tornado before making a sharp left turn and began moving south.

May 26 Supercell east of Colorado Springs
On a day when no severe risk was issued a severe storm formed over colorado springs and produced near quarter size hail near the city. As the storm moved off to the East it split then took on LP supercell characteristics.
