Janice Barrett was born and raised in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Following high school, she attended the Katherine Gibbs School in Boston,
Massachusetts. Following her marriage to Carl, she raise four children while
serving her respective communities in a host of positions. She has consistently
served on local library boards, former president of the
Albert Wisner Public Library
in Warwick. Music is a lifelong interest participating as a singer,
she also has served as interim choir master at the Warwick Reformed Church.
