Found this Silver plated coin ID'ed as being
from Portugal, hunting a cellar hole site in the frozen grounds of
late December. Thought I had a Bust Silver dollar at first!
Turns out the coin was made in bronze and apparently
someone either plated it to pass as silver,or for wearing it as a charm
as the coin is holed with rust left on it from the iron clasp. Inserted
a pic from Krauss' world coin book to show what it looked like.
