Harp Depot was founded on January
2, 1996 by John and Melissa Hall.
John had begun dealing in harmonicas
as early as 1992 through his saddle and
leathergoods business called Pullman
Saddle Co. The deal was that if you
bought a Pullman saddle you got
a free harmonica! People would call back
and say, "I love my saddle, but
what I'd really like is some more harmonicas!"

(raising the bar); musicianship & knowledge base;
expression & techniques; credibility
& public awareness.
