1. The functioning of nervous systems is deterministic 
because, being comprised of organic materials, everything in 
them must conform to what's described by the 2nd Law of 
Thermodynamics (WDB2T).

There exists no way around this.

2. However, WDB2T is a Universal dynamic, so one cannot 
predetermine the output of a nervous system without 
predetermining the whole Universe.

The above having been stated, the =rigorous= correlation of 
both nervous systems and machines to WDB2T means it's 
possible to model nervous system function in machines, but 
such machine implimentations will be subject to 1 & 2 above.

The whole "algorithm" business is a red herring that has 
everything to do with a researcher's familiarity with that 
particular formalism, and nothing to do with any 
Physically-Real limits on computability. ken collins
