Hey, is anybody old enough to remember Isaly's Ice Cream?
Site of many first run movies. Why wait for John Wayne to make it all the way to Cleveland when you could drive for an hour, see a movie that would place you ahead of everybody else, and have a night on the town to boot:

The Green Room Bar
at the Hotel Howe. From what I've heard, it was THE place to go after the
show, or even instead of the show. Bet those Akronites wondered what all
the Clevelanders were doing
there!
A bustling downtown scene. You gotta believe that today, not one of the vehicles or buildings is anything like it was then. So goes this little visual archeology trip!
