Only from the mind of a Wozny...dreaded Web
Links
Just to prove that I actively maintain this website (as
my limited time permits), I now present to you some extremely well-researched
and very current links guaranteed to provide you with hours of fun browsing.
Now who could resist an offer like that? (actually updated 10/28/96)?
- Apocryphal
Lands...like the nations of 'Llome and Clobstovfia (of which the Sultan
of Consultin' is the Consulate-General and Diplomate Superieur and
Ambassador-at-large with emphasis on large) many people have established
their own mythical countries, such as
Laputa
and the Kingdom of Talossa.
There is even a long-lasting alliance between Laputa and 'Llome which commenced
in June, 1996
but was nearly lost, the victim of an unfortunate Laputian hard-disk server
head-crash!
- Ever wonder how to curse in Urdu? How to cruise in Galician? How to
insult the honor of a Welshman's sister? Well, it's all here (and more)
in the Alternative
Dictionary. A hundred or so languages with enough blue words to make
you sound like a sailor in Sri Lanka or wherever you might find yourself
- The Kooks
Museum...no, they haven't opened up an exhibit on me yet, and I'm not
offended; I'm just not a world-class kook, not just yet; take a peek and
you'll see what it takes to be a real Kook!
- All
things weird...religions, philosophies, the paranormal. There are enough
ways to save the world here to ensure we'll forever have wars. This site
has a link to every left-hand thought going down the right-hand lane on the
'net.
- Cameras and
even machines!...not
just boring weather cameras, but stuff like Coke machines and refrigerators
- The most disgusting thing you will probably ever see on the Web (if you
are over 40 and not presently engaged in a motorcycle
gang)...<GONE FOREVER!> Browse
carefully and you will find, yes, that people pierce them things, too
- Catalogs of miscellany...obviously, the framers of these particular pages
did not have the best of memories or wanted to be sure they could claim some
kind of Guinness Record.
First is a
guy who just can't remember some things, and what better to use the web for.
Second and
Third (hmmm,
perhaps just mildly adult-oriented), have to be browsed to be believed.
Fourth, a page devoted
to a man of few words, who, if he was alive now, would be making millions
in the movies just based upon the manner in which he (ummm) exhales
And, for your continued amusement, the old links, which still seem
to be there. I could not throw them out just for the sake of revisionism!
- Sprott's
Fractal Software...attempting to relate Physics to Fractals with at least
some success (I don't know who Poincare is but I intend to find out)
- Eyes on the world...People
with all too much money/time/whatever on their hands have taken the trouble
to aim cameras at things so you can see what they see over the internet.
Here's a collection of many of them.
- Emergency! Emergency! Please
to Running From the Streets!...that quiet gentleman across the street,
the person that lent you the dollar to ride the bus...they could be Zetans.
Nancy will set you straight. Glad to have found this link so that I
don't inadvertently cause aliens to abduct me. Now you can see how
to prevent this common tragedy, too.
- Die Vorfahren
Surname and Town/Kries Database...Are you Pomeranian? Look here
to find out if anybody researched your surname! (No, I'm not a Pomeranian
because I'm not on the list).
- FEDERATION OF EAST EUROPEAN
FAMILY HISTORY SOCIETIES ...if sausage, cabbage, potatoes, and noodles
are what you consider a balanced diet, you must be able to find your family
roots somewhere on this web page!
- German
genealogy: Donauschwaben...another German province. Darn them,
they ran out the Poles (and vice versa) so many times, a body doesn't know
where to look.
- German Genealogy
Home Page...goes all the way back to the first blue-eyed blonde, I'm
sure.
- The Worst of the
Web (an honor I hope to once enjoy!)
- 20th Century Composer's
Gallery...were you ever wondering what Frank Martin looked like? How
about Karel Husa? A collection of famous 20th Century Classical Composer
pics (and I don't mean Michael Jackson!)
- Rock & Roll Hall of Fame +
Museum...With great hoopla, they boys from NY opened up this outpost
here in Cleveland. I know somebody that works there!
- CITYSCAPES...pictures
of the World's Major Cities (like Cleveland!)...nice place to find digital
postcards if you don't own a scanner. So far, Parma hasn't made the
list either.
- Cleveland State University's
Cleveland Index...things to study while you're here.
- Prof. Dr.-Ing.
G. Wozny of Berlin...A contributor to the IFOPNW
- Bernard Wozny's home page <GONE>...Co-founder of IFOPNW
- Out of Body
Experience...I had one of these once
- Frequently
Asked Questions (FAQ) on Neural Networks...read this and you'll be able
to predict the future (so long as the past supports the desired conclusion)
- Club
Mid Home Page...more MIDI stuff
- Harmony Central: MIDI
Tools and Resources...yet more MIDI stuff
- THE JUST INTONATION
"STORE"...Harry Partch would approve!
- Music Resources on
the Internet...in case you were wondering where to look
- Classical MIDI Archives...those
who seek to find their favorite Classical Compositions need only web over
here to Hong Kong. But no Schoenberg (yet).
- Raytracing
Rules!...create beautiful pictures of unreal things in 3D
- Jim Berlin's Homepage...one
Primo Raytracer in this area!
- Windham Hill Records...free
samples if you have hours of free connect time to download New Age artists
- Genealogiczne
bazy danych na WWW (Mowie Popolsku? if not, I haven't a clue!)
