The Finesterra is a wonderful resort. The scenery is fantastic, with one of the best views from the Whale Watcher's Bar, up top, and also by the fabulous pool and palapa area. Service and food are the best, with very friendly employees everywhere. The new phase three section is great, very modern, and the gift shop has been greatly improved. All rooms have a wonderful view. One of the best features of all is that the beach is PRIVATE, which means NO solicitors allowed. Take a long walk on it and enjoy!!!!!!!!

Has the best pool and Palapa of all the resorts in Cabo. First class staff that was friendly and made you feel special. Nice beach, but it's on the Pacific side and the undertow makes it dangerous for swimming. The fishing fleet will almost always use the current off the beach to head in for the day. Takes 10 min. to walk to the town. Watch out, the hotel is up on a quite high bluff and it is quite a hike from the road. You will enjoy the Finesterra, especially if you like to just relax and unwind by the pool. Great restaraunts are within a few minutes by taxi. Try the Trailer Court restaraunt for good seafood. Go to the banks for the best exchange rates. Ignore the timeshare offers unless you're serious about buying a timeshare.
