Orginially, Frank Safranek and Paul Brown got together and formed BSR, Inc. Frank and Paul campaigned a 1979 Mustang in the inaugural season of American Sedan in 1992. When Frank did his first event, he asked Tim White and Mark Beacom to crew for him. It wasn't long before Tim had bought a 1981 Mustang and became a part of BSR. Mark has since teamed with Ray Anderson to form LaserFast Racing. Paul moved on to SCCA Pro Racing. That is when Frank and Tim formed FAT Racing.
